A special session of the City Council is held Thursday, June 28, 1990, at five three o’clock p.m. All the members are present except Councilmen Robert Lynch, Rabbitt and William Lynch; and President Houle presides.

COUNCILMAN WILLIAM LYNCH ARRIVES AT 5:06 PM.

330      Ch 2140 The following ordinance is read for the second time and passed on a roll call vote, as follows:

Ayes - President Houle, Councilmembers Barry, Calista, Kinder, and Vieira.

Noes - Councilmen Doyle and William Lynch.

Annual Operating Budget Ordinance 1990–1991.

330      CH 2144 Ordinance Establishing a Pay Plan for the City of Pawtucket and Repealing Chapter 2085.

With majority consent of the Council, Councilman Calista introduces the following entitled Resolution:

588      Resolution of the City Council Conveying City Property at the Corner of School and Pond Streets to Henry E. Zawacki.

Upon Motion made by Councilman Calista, seconded by Councilmen Kinder and Barry, the following resolution is read and passed on a roll call vote, as follows:

Ayes - President Houle, Councilmembers Barry, Calista, Doyle, Kinder, William Lynch and Vieira.

Noes - 0

588      Resolution of the City Council Conveying City Property at the Corner of School and Pond Streets to Henry E. Zawacki.

COUNCIL PRESIDENT RAYMOND W. HOULE, JR. REQUESTS THE MOTION AND COUNCILMAN BARRY MAKES THE FOLLOWING MOTION.

For Pawtucket to OPT out of Municipal employees early retirement program proposed in 1190–1991 State Budget and to request that a Representative of State Retirement Board, Rhode Island League of Cities & Towns, and Personnel Director Martin Joyce come to a pre-council meeting on July 11, 1990, to discuss pros and cons of Plan.

The following Motion is read and passed on a roll call vote, as follows:

Ayes - President Houle, Councilmembers Barry, Calista, Doyle, Kinder, William Lynch and Vieira.

Noes - 0
