MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL

JOINT WORKSHOP WITH THE SCHOOL COMMITTEE RE: SCHOOL REGIONALIZATION

 

The foregoing item of business, filed with the City Clerk under the Rules of the Council, came before the Council at a workshop held on November 10, 2025 at 5:30 p.m., Rogers High School Auditorium, Wickham Rd., Newport, RI 02840

 

The  following members were present:

Also present were Colin Kennedy, City Manager, Michael Caruolo, Deputy City Manager, Christopher J. Behan, Esq., City Solicitor and the following members of the School Committee:  James Dring, Chair, Becky Bolan, Bob Power, Robert Leary, Stephanie Winslow, Sandra Flowers and Beth Cullen.  The workshop commenced at 5:30 p.m.  Discussion occurred among the School Committee members and City Council members regarding school regionalization with Middletown.
