COUNCIL PRIORITIES FOR 2024

The following items of business, filed with the City Clerk under the Rules of the Council, came before the Council at a workshop held on  January 6, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 43 Broadway, Newport, RI 02840.

The DEPUTY CITY CLERK called the Roll and the following members were present:

Also in attendance were Senator Louis DiPalma, Senator Dawn Euer, Representative Marvin Abney and Representative Lauren Carson.

MAYOR KHAMSYVORAVONG opened the workshop.  Discussion occurred among the Council members, Senators and Representatives regarding the legislative priorities for 2024.
