* Consideration of or reconsideration of a vote to cancel or revoke the parade permit for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade to be held on March 14, 2020 in light of the coronavirus outbreak and based on receipt of clear direction from state officials after the Council’s meeting and vote on March 10, 2020.
The Council intends to vote on this added docket item as a result of the receipt of further direction from state officials concerning the permitting of large public gatherings such as the parade which requires immediate action to protect the public.
The Council may vote to advance this Added Item on its docket for consideration.
MAYOR BOVA moved the item be added and moved to the beginning of the meeting. Seconded by COUNCILOR CEGLIE and VOTED UNANIMOUSLY.
MAYOR BOVA moved to revoke license. Seconded by COUNCILOR NAPOLITANO. Discussion occurred among the Council regarding the changing guidelines and situation with the COVID-19. The vote on the motion to revoke the license was VOTED UNANIMOUSLY.
