Data Support Teacher Assistant
DATA SUPPORT TEACHER ASSISTANT
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
1. High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).
2. Demonstrate literacy skills necessary to work with teachers, students, and community.
3. Knowledge of health, safety and emergency procedures of the learning environment.
4. Support a learning environment that encourages appropriate standards of behavior and positive social interaction for students.
5. Interact effectively with staff, parents, students and persons outside of the school system.
6. Demonstrate computer skills proficiency.
7. Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
8. Team oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Willing to participate in ongoing in-service training as requested.
10. Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information as required by law.
11. Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to team efforts and organizational efforts.
12. Positive attitude.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Meet and support the needs of the District/School data Support Personnel including the Technology Department and Guidance Department.
2. Demonstrated experience with technology applications as they relate to the data.
3. Maintain confidentiality concerning parents, students, personnel and other school related matters, including all communication.
4. Support the maintenance of various databases.
5. Support the coordination of student data.
6. Multi-task orientated.
7. Ability to work independently and under the direction of others.
8. Assume other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
