II.        EXECUTIVE SESSION

The City Council of East Providence may meet in Executive Session,

pursuant to RIGL §42-46-5 (a)(2) Personnel to conduct interviews of City Clerk finalists, notice given

-          Motion to enter into executive session made by Committee member Councilman Lawson.  Motion seconded by Council Vice President Rego.  Motion passes 5-0.

III.       RECONVENE TO OPEN SESSION

-          Motion to reconvene to open session made by Council Vice President Rego.  Motion seconded by Committee member Councilman Lawson.  Motion passes 5-0.

-          Council President Rodericks to add to executive session on the May 2, 2023 docket the topic of clerk candidates and references with possible vote.

IV.       MOTION TO SEAL EXECUTIVE SESSION MINUTES

-          Motion to seal executive session minutes made by Committee Chair Councilwoman Sousa.  Motion seconded by Committee member Councilman Lawson.  Motion passes 5-0.

IV.       ADJOURNMENT

-          Motion to adjourn made by Committee Chair Councilwoman Sousa.  Motion seconded by Council Vice President Rego.
