III.       CITY WARD REDISTRICTING

 

1. Review and discussion with Priti Mathur from ABCBridge Consulting & Training Inc. related to adjusting the City’s ward boundaries (Ward 1-4) as a result of the 2020 decennial census – Discussion only

 

-          Priti Mathur reviews Plan A (current), Plan B, Plan C, Plan D

-          Council members consensus to agree upon Plan D and instructed law department to draft an ordinance reflecting the ward boundaries as set forth in Plan D.  No votes were taken.

-          Presentation attached

 

            2. Setting date for second passage – For discussion only and possible vote

 

-          Second passage will be on April 5, 2022

-          Motion to adjourn made by Council Vice President Rodericks.  Seconded by Councilman Cahoon.
