1. 2023 Council Appointments and Nominations – Councilwoman Sousa – Discussion Only
- Councilwoman Sousa expresses the desire to have the City Clerk position require an application and interview process. Also, requests the Mayoral appointments requiring Council approval be shared with the council prior to the inauguration. Councilwoman states she is seeking the Council Vice President position.
2. Council President’s farewell message
- Council President thanks the previous council’s he has served with and the current council for their hardwork and dedication over the last 8 years he has served.

An ordinance of the City of East Providence authorizing the City to finance the construction, renovation, improvement, alteration, repair furnishing and equipping of schools and school facilities in the City by the issuance of not more than $148,000,000 bonds, notes and/or other evidences of indebtedness therefor, subject to approval of state housing aid at a reimbursement rate or state share ratio of not less than 48.5% for expenditures eligible for state aid and provided that the authorization shall be reduced by any grant received from the School Building Authority Capital Fund
