Summary: Public Hearing for the East Providence City Council to consider an AMENDMENT to the

Generalized Land Use Map a/the City's Comprehensive Plan/or parcel 1, a/map 107, block 15 from,

"Open Space" to a new sub-district of the East Providence Wate/Font Special Development District be

given the designation "Metacomet", In addition, the petitioner is proposing to rezone the subject

property (map 107, block 15, parcel 1) from "Open Space" to a new sub-district of the East Providence

Waterfront Special Development District to be designated "Metacomet" with allowed uses that include

but not limited to a mix of commercial, office, retail, mixed density residential (single-family, townhouses

and multi-family condominiums), continuing care, fast food, conference centers, hotel and pharmacies, In

addition, approximately 9,6 acres is proposed to be conveyed to the City for open space uses and

approximately 48, I acres is to be restricted to only those uses allowed ill the Open Space zoning district

to serve as a golf course,
