B. PUBLIC HEARING - None

1. Presentation on the City of East Providence’s plan to update the hazard mitigation plan in 2022 – City of East Providence Planning Department
- William Fazioli, Dominic Leonardo and Wayne Barnes present the hazard mitigation plan.

- Heather Andrade speaks to the hazard mitigation plan
- Jenn Tierney speaks to the hazard mitigation plan

Any person who submits a communication to the Council and wishes to speak on it must indicate this in writing no later than 12:00 p.m. the Thursday prior to the next regularly scheduled Council meeting. A person who lists more than one topic on their communication will be allowed to speak on the first one listed.
s All persons wishing to make public comment shall sign a public comment sheet stating their name, address and the subject of their comments. Each speaker will be limited to three (3) minutes. The order of speakers will be on a first come, first serve basis and the maximum time for public comment shall by limited to thirty (30) minutes per meeting.
- Chris Costa addresses the Council with his concerns of the lights being turned off early in the fall and winter months at the skate park.

- Councilwoman Sousa asked Chief Francesconi and DPW Director Dan Borges questions about the traffic light cameras.

a. City held the unveiling of the sign of the recently renamed East Providence Senior Center to the Robert E. Rock Senior Center. Robert Rock and his family, federal, state and local officials and members of the East Providence Police Dept. were in attendance.

b. The City will be hiring a licensed independent clinical social worker to work with victims of crimes and domestic violence. The independent social worker will also be available to provide counseling to members of the city’s public safety departments.
