I.          City Manager Public Session of the Council Interview of a City Manager Candidate

The Mayor thanked all of the members of the City Manager Search Committee.

City Manager candidate Kenneth Fields was called to the City Manager's seat.  He introduced himself and gave his background and a brief overview of why he would like to be City Manager of the City of East Providence. 

The City Council followed with a question and answer period between Council and the City Manager candidate. 

Mr. Fields closed with a summary of why he would be a good City Manager for the City of East Providence. 

Mr. Fields made himself available following the public session to meet members of the press and residents individually in the Council Chambers. 

The Council adjourned to Executive Session. 

II.         Adjourn to Executive Session

The motion is made to adjourn to Executive Session by Councilwoman Kleyla, seconded by Assistant Mayor Rose and on a roll call vote it is unanimous.
