The City Council meets in the Council Chambers on Friday, September 14, 2007 and Mayor Isadore S. Ramos calls the meeting to order at 12:03 P.M.

Mayor Ramos stated this special meeting is for the City Manager to make his presentation to deliver the budget to the City Council.
Mr. Brown stated as required by our ordinances this is the last day that I can present the budget to you. You have in front of you the schedule of significant dates relating to the budget. Today is the day it is presented to Council. We advertise on September 18th. October 2nd we have our first public hearing. October 16th is our second public hearing with final passage on October 24th. I will be speaking at greater length on the specifics of the budget itself at our October 2nd meeting. At this point I would like Council to officially accept this for the record and direct the City Manager and staff to move on with the process as indicated in the outline.
On Motion by Councilwoman Perry, seconded by Councilman Silva and on a roll-call vote, it is voted 4 – 0 to approve.
ADJOURNMENT
On motion of Councilman Silva, seconded by Councilwoman Perry, it is voted to adjourn.
Mayor Ramos adjourns the meeting at 12:08 p.m.
Public asked when they would be able to get a copy.
Mr. Brown stated after today’s meeting it will be posted on the web, we’re waiting for additional copies from the printer so check back with us the beginning of next week.
