CITY OF EAST PROVIDENCE   RHODE ISLAND JOURNAL OF SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 23, 2005

 

The City Council meets in Special Session in City Hall on Thursday, June 23, 2005, and is called to order at 12:15 p.m by Mayor Joseph S. Larisa, Jr.

I.  CONSENT CALENDAR

Alcoholic Beverage License – Class F , Tent & Carnival June 23, 24, 25 & 26

St. Martha’s Church, 2595 Pawtucket Avenue

           

The date of the 23^rd was added because original application on listed only the 24^th, 25^th, and 26^th.         

 

On motion of Councilman Miranda, seconded by Councilman Midgley, it is unanimously voted to approve.

 

II.  COMMUNICATIONS

           Terry Clayman, Catlin Avenue, East Providence

Requesting to address the Council regarding permission to close off Seldon Street on Saturday, June 25, 2005 from 11am-2pm to hold fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society

 

On motion of Councilman Miranda, seconded by Councilman Midgley, it is unanimously voted to approve.

 

The meeting adjourns at 1:00 p.m.
