CITY OF EAST PROVIDENCE   RHODE ISLAND JOURNAL OF SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING JULY 1, 2004

 

The City Council meets in the Council Chamber on Wednesday July 1, 2004, and is called to order at 12:00 p.m. by Mayor Rolland R. Grant.

The Invocation is read Mayor Grant and the Salute to the Flag is also led by Mayor Grant.

 

CITY COUNCIL SITTING AS LICENSE COMMISSIONERS

LICENSES NOT REQUIRING PUBLIC HEARING

 

1.  City Solicitor, William J. Conley, Jr. states that the special meeting was called so that those licenses currently holding Class A licenses in the city be allowed to open Sunday.

 

Councilman Norman J. Miranda inquires about the hours of operation on Sunday. Mr. Conley explains that the Sunday hours will be 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

 

On motion of Councilman Miranda, seconded by Councilman Harrington, and on a roll call it is unanimously voted to accept as presented.

 

There being no further business, on motion of Councilman Miranda, seconded by Councilman Harrington the meeting was adjourned.
