SPECIAL MEETING – CITY COUNCIL

 

-NOVEMBER 6, 2025-

 

            Special meeting of the City Council was held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 869 Park Ave., Cranston, Rhode Island.
           

I.            CALL MEETING TO ORDER:

 

            The meeting was called to order at 5:52 P.M. by the Council President.

 

II.            ROLL CALL:

 

            Roll call showed the following members present: Councilwoman Graziano, Councilmen Andujar, Councilwoman Vaziri, Councilmen Campopiano, Buonanno and Council President Wall -6.

 

            Absent:  Councilmen Ritz, Traficante and Council Vice-President Haroian -3.

 

            Also Present:  Rosalba Zanni, Assistant City Clerk/Clerk of Committee.

  

III.            INTRODUCTION OF NEW BUSINESS 

 

RESOLUTION Supporting the City of Cranston Application for the 2026 Green Space Outdoor Recreation Grant for Improvements to the Friendly Playground.  Sponsored by Councilwoman Graziano.  To Be Referred to Ordinance Committee 11/6/2025.  (Vote to be taken) 

 

            Councilmen Andujar, Buonanno, Campopiano, Councilwoman Vaziri and Council President Wall asked to be added as co-sponsors.

 

            On motion by Councilman Andujar, seconded by Councilman Buonanno, it was voted to refer this Resolution to the Ordinance Committee 11/6/2025.  Motion passed on a vote of 6-0.  The following being recorded as voting “aye”: Councilwoman Graziano, Councilmen Andujar, Councilwoman Vaziri, Councilmen Campopiano, Buonanno and Council President Wall -6.

 

IV.            ADJOURNMENT
