MINUTES
Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 5:30 p.m.
A Special Meeting of the Cranston City Council was held in City Council Chambers, Cranston City Hall, 869 Park Ave., Cranston, RI 02910, for the purpose of considering the following items listed on the agenda. Remote participation was also available.

I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 5:40 P.M. by Council President Jessica M. Marino.
II. ROLL CALL
The roll was called by the Clerk. Stated as present: Councilman Robert J. Ferri, Councilwoman Aniece Germain, Councilman John P. Donegan, Councilman Richard D. Campopiano, Councilman Christopher G. Paplauskas, Council Vice-President Lammis J. Vargas, and Council President Jessica M. Marino. Noted as absent: Councilwoman Nicole Renzulli. Also present: David C. DiMaio, Council Internal Auditor/Budget Analyst; Mayor Kenneth J. Hopkins, and City Clerk Tracy A. Nelson
Council President Marino requested a moment of silence for thoughts and prayers with those unnecessarily suffering in Israel.
III. OATH OF OFFICE
The City Clerk will administer the Oath of Office to Daniel R. Wall, Councilman-Elect, Ward 6
At the request of the Council President, Clerk Nelson read the certification of the October 3, 2023 Special Election for Council, Ward 6 into the record.
City Clerk Tracy A. Nelson administered the Oath of Office to Councilman-Elect Daniel R. Wall.
IV. ADJOURNMENT
MOTION made by Councilman Ferri, SECOND by Councilman Donegan to adjourn at 5:45 P.M. All Ayes
