SPECIAL MEETING – CITY COUNCIL

 

-APRIL 1, 2022-

 

 

            A Special meeting of the City Council was called held on Friday, April 1, 2022 in the Council Chamber, City Hall, Cranston, Rhode Island.

 

            The meeting was called to order at 6:35 P.M. by Council President Paplauskas.

 

            Roll call showed the following members present:  Councilwomen Marino, Renzulli, Vargas, Germain, Councilmen Donegan, Campopiano, Reilly and Council President Paplauskas -8.

 

            Also Present:  Mayor Kenneth J. Hopkins; Anthony Moretti, Director of Administration; Daniel Parrillo, Director of Personnel; Robert Strom, Director of Finance; Michael Igoe, City Controller; David Dimaio, City Council Budget Analyst.

 

            Council President Paplauskas called on Mayor Hopkins for his Budget address.

 

            Mayor Hopkins presented his budget address for Fiscal Year 2022-2023.

            Council President Paplauskas stated that the Public Hearing before the Finance Committee regarding the Budget will be held on April 6, 7, 11, 13, 18, 27, 2022 and adoption on May 4, 2022 and this schedule along with the Mayor’s proposed Budget will be available on the City’s website.
