MINUTES
I. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:20 p.m.by Kevin Marchand
II. Roll Call
Board Members:

· Kevin Kazarian, Vice-Chair, present
· Daniel Klotz, present
· Gary Berdugo (1st Alternate), present
· Herman Yip, present
· Ann Peckham, absent
· Jackie Parra, absent
· Miguel Garcia, absent
A quorum was present.
The meeting was staffed by:
- Jim Vandermillen, Assistant Director, Planning and Economic Development
III. Pledge of Allegiance
Led by Board Chair Kevin Marchand.
IV. Approval of Minutes
a. September 21, 2021 meeting
Kevin Kazarian moved to approve the minutes of the September 21, 2021meeting; Gary Berdugo seconded. A roll call vote was taken as not all members present at this meeting were present at the September 21 meeting. Keven Marchand: Yes; Kevin Kazarian: Yes; Gary Berdugo: Yes. The motion passed.
V. New Business
Kevin Marchand, Chair, entertained a motion to open New Business.
Mr. Vandermillen advised the Chair not to open New Business, as the presence of a quorum had not been confirmed prior to the meeting and, out of an abundance of caution, staff advised applicants that the meeting would likely be continued to 6:00 pm on November 3 at City Hall.
Kevin Marchand entertained a motion to continue the meeting to November 3, 2021 at 6:00 pm at City Hall, either in the Council Chambers or the 3rd floor conference room.
Kevin Kazarian moved to continue the meeting to 6:00 pm on November 3, 2021 at City Hall; Gary Berdugo seconded. A roll call vote was taken:
- Kevin Marchand: Yes
- Kevin Kazarian: Yes
- Daniel Klotz: Yes
- Gary Berdugo: Yes
- Herman Yip: Yes
The motion passed.

Kevin Marchand entertained a motion to adjourn.
Gary Berdugo moved to adjourn; Herman Yip seconded. The motion passed by a voice vote. The meeting was adjourned at 6:29 p.m.
