Roll call was conducted by the Assistant City Clerk, Sean Murphy. Present were Councilors Robert Ferri, Hugo Figueroa, Stephanie Gonzalez, Tammi Johnson, Shelby Maldonado, Ann Racquier.  

2.      Pledge of Allegiance

Pledge of Allegiance was conducted by Chairwoman Ristaino-Siegel.

3.      Consideration of 2015 Liquor License Renewals- Tabled on November 10, 2014

Jose Lima was present to discuss his business with his electrician Charles Moran.

Elaine Partridge spoke on behalf of the city.  

Motion for discussion was made by Councilman Robert Ferri, Seconded by Councilwoman Maldonado.  Motion passed 7-0

Motion to table was made by Councilman Ferri, seconded by Councilwoman Johnson. Motion passed 7-0.

Motion to table was rescinded by Councilman Ferri.

Motion to continue was made by Councilman Ferri, seconded by Councilwoman Gonzalez. Motion passed 7-0.

2. Restaurant Delis

Class B License

Hector Lopez was present to discuss Restaurant Delis. He discussed a timeline when all inspections and work would be completed for business.

Director Partridge spoke on behalf of the city.

Motion to table until December 8, 2014 made by Councilman Ferri, seconded by Councilwoman Gonzalez.

            Motion passed 7-0.

Motion to table to December 8^th, 2014 was made by Councilman Ferri, seconded by Councilwoman Racquier. Motion passed 7-0

4.      Hearing, Consideration and Possible Action regarding the following license and license holders

1. Maria Almeida

d/b/a Benjamin’s III

722 Broad St.

Central Falls, RI 02863

Class BV License

Captain Rave was present to discuss a report of service calls provided by the city to this establishment. Arthur and Maria Almeida were present on Benjamin’s III behalf.

Motion to accept documents presented by Captain Rave was made by Councilman Ferri, seconded by Councilwoman Maldonado. Motion passed 7-0.

Motion to have a ninety (90) day review period from December 1, 2014 to March 1, 2015 was made by Councilwoman Gonzalez, seconded by Councilwoman Maldonado. Motion passed 7-0.

Motion made to approve the license for a ninety (90) day period was made by Councilwoman Gonzalez, seconded by Councilwoman Maldonado. Motion passed 7-0.

Councilman Hugo Figueroa left the meeting at 6:35 pm.

2. Jose R. Vicente

d/b/a Hacker’s Pub Inc.

Class B License

Jose Vicente, owner of Hackers Pub was present with an interpreter Mr. Costa.

Captain Rave was present to discuss a report of service calls provided by the city to this establishment.

Motion to accept documents presented by Captain Rave was made by Councilman Ferri, seconded by Councilwoman Maldonado. Motion passed 6-0.
