A meeting of the Central Falls Liquor Board was held on the above date, in the Council Chambers at 7:30pm, Councilor William Benson, Jr. Presided

Motion to accept and place on file was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilor Szlastha. All agreed. So voted. 4-0
3. Correspondence
a). Marie A. Twohey City Clerk to all License holder - Notice to attend meeting of 11/10/2008.
Motion to accept and place on file was made by Councilor Delahoz, seconded by Councilor Aubin. All agreed. So voted. 4-0
b). Colonel Moran re: Mato Grande Pub - incident 9/29/2008
Members requested a verbal report from Chief Moran who was present.
Motion to Summons Mato Grande Pub in for Just Cause hearing was made by Councilor Delahoz seconded by Councilor Aubin. All agreed. So voted. 5-0
4. Discussion and action to be taken on Mato Grande Pub
534 Hunt St.
Discussion took place on the incident.
5. Hearing / Possible Revocation of License - Cesar Morales d/b/a El Chapin #3 508-510 Dexter St.
Attorney Vecchio was present to represent Cesar Morales d/b/a El Chapin. He presented his case stating the owner was out of the Country for a period of time and he, the attorney did not answer the letters because he was not ready to present his case. Councilor Delahoz stated how disappointed the Board was that after many notifications and summons the owner did not reply! That this was a very bad sign to the board when they could not get the owner to come in or pay the fine that was finally imposed after several months! The attorney stated he was not ready to try the case at this time.
Motion to revoke the license was made by Councilor Delahoz, seconded by All. All agreed. So voted. 4-0
6. F-1 License
a). St. Joseph’s Church, High St. Fundraiser dance to benefit school held on November 29, 2008.
Motion to approve was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by All. All agreed. So voted. 4-0.
7. All Liquor Establishments were requested to appear.
Councilor Benson asked the Clerk to read off all the names of the Establishments that were present and who ever was not present to send a notice for next month to appear. There were three not present Roundhouse tavern, Tropicana, and Lima’s place. Councilor Benson informed all present of the trouble that has been occurring by not allowing the police to enter an establishment if there is an incident and warned it will not be tolerated in the future.
Public hearing was opened.

Motion to approve list was made by Councilor Aubin, , seconded by Councilor Szlastha. All agreed. So voted. 4-0 Approved
Class B Ltd- See List
Motion to remove El Chapin from the list was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilor Delahoz. All agreed. So voted. 4-0 Approved
Motion to remove Mato Grande from the list was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilor Delahoz. All agreed. So voted. 4-0 Approved
Class Bv-See List
Motion to remove Mato Grande from the list was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilor Delahoz. All agreed. So voted. 4-0 Approved
Motion to approve remaining list was made by Councilor Aubin seconded by Councilor Delahoz. All agreed. So voted. 4-0 Approved
Motion to approve Mato Grande subject to results of Just Cause Hearing was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilor Delahoz. All agreed. So voted. 4-0 Approved

Motion to approve list was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilor Delahoz. All agreed. So voted. 4-0 Approved
