A meeting of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date, in the Council Chambers at 8:50pm William Benson Jr. Presided.
1. Roll Call
Richard Aubin-Present
Eunice Delahoz-Present
Patrick Szlastha-Present
Elizabeth A. Crowley-Present
William Benson-Present
Mayor Moreau- absent
Quorum present.
2. Election of Officers
Council President Benson named Councilor Crowley to Chair the Liquor Board then turned the meeting over to her.
3. Correspondences
a. Colonel Moran, III re: El Chapin
b. Colonel Moran, III re: VFW
Motion to accept the correspondences and place on file made by Council Benson, seconded by Council Szlastha. All Agreed. So voted. 5-0
Motion by Councilor Benson to notify them to come in for a Just cause hearing for March, seconded by Councilor Delahoz. All agreed. So voted. 5-0
Councilor Benson requested the law department to notify the VFW that (because they have not picked up their license as yet due to fire code violations.) that they may not serve any private parties or serve liquor until they pick up their license.
