A meeting of the Central Falls Liquor Board was held on the above date, in the Council Chambers at 6:35pm, Councilor Elizabeth A. Crowley Presided.

Motion to accept and place on file was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilor Szlastha. All agreed. So voted. 4-0
3. Correspondence
Re-notified to appear- did not appear on November 10, 2008
a). d/b/a Tropicana Nightclub -134 Cowden St.—he was present.
b). d/b/a Roundhouse Tavern- 137 Central St.—No show
c). d/b/a Lima’s Place- 499 High St. He was present
d). Jack Gannon-Law Dept. re: Summons to appear- Mato Grande Pub
e). Jack Gannon-Law Dept. re: Summons to appear- El Chapin. (This was sent out prior to decision of State Liquor control to grant our stay)
Motion to accept and place on file was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilor Benson. All agreed. So voted. 4-0
4. Hearing
a). Joseph Depina d/b/a Mato Grande Pub Inc. 534 Hunt St. (disorderly house on Sept 28, 2008)
Kenneth O’Donnell,Esq. of Providence, RI was present to represent Mr. Depina, who was also present.
Mr. O’Donnell asked to have the matter continued until January 12, 2009 for trial.
Motion to continue this item for trial until January 12, 2008 made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilor Benson. All agreed. 4-0
5. License- F-1
a). St. Joseph Church- 12/31/2008 New Year’s Eve Party
Motion to approve was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilor Benson. All agreed. So voted. 4-0
6. Old Business-none
7. New Business
Mayor Moreau was present and introduced a new idea in regards to the issuance of stationary liquor licenses to be site only. Discussion among the other Councilors took place. More information to come later.
