Councilman Patino chaired.

 

2.  CLASS BV TRANSFER

Mato Grande Pub was represented by Attorney Joseph Lamagna also present was the applicant Mr. Jose DePina.

 

Council President Weber questioned the applicant in detail. He stated that the area where this business is located has been very quiet since the business has been closed and that he is personally not in favor of re-opening this business.

 

Mr. DePina stated that he will operate the establishment himself and that he will do all in his power to keep the neighborhood quiet and be a good neighbor.

 

Chairman Patino asked that the door to the establishment be kept closed at all times.

 

Motion to approve subject to all rules and regulations established by the Board and State of Rhode Island, was made by Councilman Leger and seconded by Councilman Benson.

Chairman Patino asked the Clerk to update the Board on the status of the Bltd licenses.

 

Elizabeth Crowley, City Clerk gave a brief overview of the licenses and the number of Applicants for the Bltd.

 

5.  Adjourn

 

Motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Leger and seconded by Councilman Silva.

All Agreed. So Voted.  Time 7:48 p.m.
