A meeting of the Central Falls Liquor Board was held on the above date in the City Hall Council Chambers at 5:09 p.m.

 

1.  Roll Call

 

Councilman Silva

Councilman Weber

Councilman Benson

Chairman Patino

Quorum Present.

 

Councilman Patino chaired the meeting.

 

2.  Discussion related to alcoholic beverage licenses

                       

Chairman Patino asked the Solicitor for his views relative to handling the availability of Class Bv licenses.

 

Solicitor Gannon stated that there could be several ways to handle this issue.

 

He commented on the State of Florida's rules.

 

He also stated that the Board could issue this type of license to an established business with an established record.  He commented on a lottery and the benefits and downfalls involved with it.

 

The Board referred the matter to legal to prepare rules and regulations.

 

Councilman Silva commented on new applicants.

           

3.  Adopt rules and or procedures for abandoned and or returned alcoholic beverage licenses.

 

Motion to table was made by Councilman Benson and seconded by Councilman Weber.

 

All Agreed. So Voted.
