A meeting of the Central Falls Liquor Board was held on the above date in the City Hall Council Chambers at 9:00 p.m.

 

1. Roll Call

2. Minutes

 

Regular Meeting March 8,1999

 

Motion to approve was made by Councilman Weber and seconded by Councilman Canavan. All agreed. So Voted.

 

3. Class E Pharmacy License

 

Maxi Drug Inc.

D/b/a Brooks

1114 Broad St

 

The store manager was present to explain the license which is used for the purposes of dispensing prescriptions which contain alcohol. He also stated that Brooks would be having a Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday and that there would be a give away of a 19" color TV and large stuffed bear.

 

Motion to approve was made by Councilman Noury and seconded by Councilman Weber.

Attorney Michael Horan was present to answer questions on behalf of his clients from Melucci's Cafe. He stated that the business would be open for lunch and dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m.

 

Councilman Noury asked if the Corporation also purchased the building and that the food is excellent and there is plenty of parking.

 

Councilman Canavan commented.

 

Motion to approve was made by Councilman Noury and seconded by Councilwoman Moreau.
