A Regular Meeting of the Central Falls Liquor Board was held on the above date in the City Hall Council Chamber at 9:55 P.M.

Motion was made by Councilman Laroche and seconded by Councilman Brousseau that a copy of the minutes which relates to Jimbo's Cafe stipulating that Police Officers be on the premises on Weekends be provided for the next meeting.

Public Hearing opened: 11:00 P.M
Councilman Brousseau questioned the hours of operation.
Wilfred DeMeule commented on page 2 of his handout and stated that he had no objection to this party getting a license.
Mayor Lazieh questioned the background of applicant.
Public Hearing closed at 11:13 P.M.
Councilman Brousseau commented that he would like it stipulated that serving alcoholic beverages restricted to while eating.
George Muksian commented on the legality of this restriction.
Motion to approve license was made by Councilman Brousseau and seconded by Councilman Laroche and Mayor Lazieh.

Attorney DiMaio was present to represent G.A.M. Corp.
Summons read by City Clerk Issa.
Agent Vincent Furtado was present.
Attorney Muksian addressed the Board.
Attorney DiMaio asked that the Board consider suspension rather than revocation until the question of ownership of the license is resolved.
Mr. Furtado stated that Mr. Garcia pleaded guilty to the charges and received 57 months in prision and 5 years probation in addition he was fined $5,000. He submitted the court papers for the record.
Motion was made by Councilman Laroche and seconded by Councilman Charbonneau that the Court papers be entered as a full exhibit.

Councilman Brousseau asked Mr. Furtado questions pertaining to the seizure of assets.
Mr. Furtado replied.
U.S. Marshall's Office commented that the building was about to be leased as a parish hall.
Mayor Lazieh questioned Mr. Furtado.
Councilman Brousseau commented.
Motion to revoke the Class Bv License of G.A.M. Corp. d/b/a The Sportsman at 55 Sheridan St. Central Falls was made by Councilman Brousseau and seconded Councilman Charbonneau.
Under comments: Mayor Lazieh spoke and Councilman Brousseau commented that the Board was not eliminating the license.

Mayor Lazieh qualified his vote and stated that this action will free up this license for another location.
Councilman Vaudreuil commented.
Paul Rheaume & Richard Thomson
d/b/a Pretzel Pub
534 Hunt St. C.F.
Mr. Rheaume was present and told the Board about a purchase and sales agreement that was not received until last week and that he needed about 45 days to complete this transaction.
Motion was made by Councilman Vaudrueil that Mr. Rheaume revise his application and include current and specific information as required on application and current resident address of applicants. Motion seconded by Councilman Brousseau.

Motion was made by Councilman Charbonneau that action on this be tabled until the November Meeting and that all fees due the City be paid within 15 days of this meeting. Motion seconded by Mayor Lazieh and Councilman Brousseau.

Motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Brousseau and seconded by Councilman Vaudreuil. All Agreed. So Voted.
