CITY OF CENTRAL FALLS
LIQUOR BOARD MEETING
MONDAY, JANUARY 8, 1990
A Regular Meeting of the Central Falls Liquor Board was held on the above date at 8:45 P.M.
Daniel J. Issa, City Clerk sat as the acting Chairman and read the Roll Call:
Councilman Charbonneau
Councilman Laroche
Councilwoman Moreau
Councilman Sienkiewicz
Councilman Vaudreuil
Mayor Lazieh
Quorum Present.
City Clerk, Daniel J. Issa opened the floor for nominations for Chairman.
Councilman Charbonneau nominated Councilwoman Moreau. Councilman Laroche seconded the nomination.
City Clerk, Daniel J. Issa asked if there were any other nominations.
Motion was made by Councilman Sienkiewicz and seconded by Councilman Charbonneau that nominations be closed. All Agreed. So Voted.
City Clerk, Daniel J. Issa cast one vote for Councilwoman Moreau.
City Clerk, Daniel J. Issa turned over the gavel and Chairman's chair to the newly elected Chairperson of the Liquor Board Councilwoman Sandra Moreau.
Chairperson Moreau opened the floor for nominations for Chairman Pro-Temp. of the Liquor Board.
Councilman Vaudreuil nominated Councilman Sienkiewicz. Nomination was seconded by Councilman Laroche.
Councilman Vaudreuil motioned that the nominations be closed. Mayor Lazieh seconded the motion. All Agreed. So Voted.
Mayor Lazieh cast one vote for Councilman Sienkiewicz for Chairman Pro-Temp. Councilman Sienkiewicz elected Chairman Pro-Temp.
Motion was made by Councilman Charbonneau and seconded by Councilman Sienkiewicz that the minutes of the previous meeting be accepted and placed on file. All Agreed. So Voted.
Vasilios Grantsis by his Attorney Charles P. Cavas; re: Lien placed on Orisonte Lounge ($6,093.58). Motion to accept and place on file was made by Councilman Laroche and seconded by Councilman Vaudreuil. All Agreed. So Voted.
Motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Sienkiewicz and seconded by Councilman Charbonneau. All Agreed. So Voted. Time 8:51 P.M.
