SPECIAL LIQUOR BOARD MEETING
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 6, 1990
A Special Meeting of the Central Falls Liquor Board was held in the City Hall Council Chambers on the above date at 7:36 P.M.
Councilman Charbonneau
Councilman Laroche
Councilwoman Moreau
Councilman Vaudreuil
Mayor Lazieh
Councilman Sienkiewicz absent due to illness.
Quorum present.
Chairwoman Sandra Moreau presided.
Also present at this meeting were:

James Briden, Assistant City Solicitor
Paul DiMaio & Robert DiPippo, Attorneys for Mr. Hector Garcia
Chief Robert Sasso to Thomas Lazieh, Public Safety Director re: G.A.M. Corp.

Motion to accept and place on file was made by Mayor Lazieh and seconded by Councilman Charbonneau. All Agreed. So Voted.

Thomas Lazieh, Public Safety Director to Hector Garcia; re: Suspension of License pending Liquor Board Hearing G.A.M. Corp.

Councilman Charbonneau questioned how G.A.M. Corp. was a threat to public safety.
Mayor Lazieh responded.
Marshal McCauley responded.
Mayor Lazieh responded that he decision to suspend the license pending this hearing came at the request of the DEA and the Central Falls Police Department.
He felt that this action was in the best interst of the Public and also call this meeting for the Liquor Board's action. He also stated that he called the State Liquor Control Administrator regarding this action and was given approval from the Administrator.
Motion to accept and place on file this correspondence was made by Councilman Laroche and seconded by Councilman Vaudreuil. All Agreed. So Voted.

Chairwoman Moreau read the Summons and opened the meeting to a Public Hearing at 7:45 P.M.
Attorney Paul DiMaio requested a continuance because his client was presently in Conn. and he informed the Board that other stockholders need to be notified.
City Solicitor George Muksian commented.
Agent Futado, DEA commented on continuance and asked that affidavit be submitted.
Attorney DiMaio agreed.
Mayor Lazieh commented.
Attorney DiMaio agreed to suspension of license for the period of the continuance, until the next meeting of the Liquor Board.
Agent Futado commented that a small amount of cocaine and a revolver were found in the safe.
Attorney DiMaio commented that it is agreed not to reopen the cafe at this time.
Mayor Lazieh suggested that a date be selected for the next meeting on this establishment.
Attorney DiMaio commented.
Monday, Jan. 21, 1991 was suggested as a possible date or the regular meeting on Jan. 14, 1991.
Mayor Lazieh motioned to set Jan. 21, 1990 at 8:00 P.M. at the request of the Attorneys at the next hearing date on this establishment. Seconded by Councilman Charbonneau. All Agreed. So Voted.
Motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Charbonneau and seconded by Councilman Vaudreuil. All Agreed. So Voted. Time 7:54 P.M.
