Minutes

 

 

       I.            Roll Call

City Clerk Alberto de Burgo, Conducted roll call. Present were Councilperson Meaghan Levasseur, Councilperson Kevin Kazarian, Councilperson Tatiana Baena, Councilperson Franklin Solano, Councilperson Rafael Peguero and Council President Robert Ferri. Councilperson Laurilim Rosado-Martinez was not present.

 

     II.            Pledge of Allegiance

Council President Ferri Led the Council in the pledging of Allegiance to the flag.

 

  III.            New Business

           

A.     Discussion with Department Directors regarding FY 24 Proposed Budget

Council President Ferri asked to move the DPW presentation first and the Law Department last.

                                                              i.      Law Department

Matt Jerzyk City Solicitor addressed the council and answered questions concerning his department’s budget for FY 24.

                                                            ii.      Human Resources Department

Ana Urena Director of Human Resources answered questions from the Council and spoke about the department’s goals and achievements.

                                                          iii.      DPW

Jean Phillip Barros, Director of Public Works addressed the City Council regarding the FY 24 budget and spoke about some of the work being done in the city by his department.

                                                           iv.      Parks and Recreation

 

 

   IV.            Adjournment

Motion to Adjourn was made by Councilperson Kazarian; Seconded by Councilperson Solano.  Motion passed 6,0.
