Meeting Minutes
Council President Jessica Vega called the meeting to order at 6:01pm

City Clerk, Jahaira Rodriguez, conducted the roll call. Present were Councilwoman Tatiana Baena, Councilwoman Glendaliz Colon, Councilman Hugo Figueroa, Councilwoman Meaghan Levasseur, Councilman Franklin Solano, Councilwoman Adamaris Villar and Council President Jessica Vega. There was quorum.
Council President Vega asked Councilperson Solano to lead the Council in reciting the pledge of allegiance.

Carlene Fonseca, 40 School Street, Central Falls, spoke about recent criminal activity around Shawmut Avenue. She would like to see a process where residents get notified of criminal activity around the neighborhood when it occurs. Both Council President and Councilperson Solano agreed that there should be something put together to notify the residents of when violence happens.

A motion to approve the meeting minutes of June 14, 2021, was made by Councilperson Figueroa, seconded by Councilperson Levasseur. Motion carried 6, 0.

Entertainment Vanderly Café Restaurante
New 765 Broad Street
Motion to approve the entertainment license contingent on owners meeting all the requirements was made by Councilperson Colon, seconded by Councilperson Levasseur. Motion carried 7,0.
Ana Goncalves, owner of Vanderly Café spoke about her plans to follow the conditions that the Council has set forth; Inspection by the Fire Department, hire two police details and hire a security guard. Mrs. Goncalves committed herself to bring documentation that she hired the security guard. Councilperson Solano echoed the words of the Council President and wants to see the owners comply with the requirements and does not want to see any issues again. Mrs. Goncalves thanked the Council for the opportunity.
Entertainment Good Fellas Tavern
New 664 Dexter Street
Motion to approve this entertainment license was made by Councilperson Solano, seconded by Councilperson Figueroa and Councilperson Colon. Motion carried 7, 0.
Julio Calderon, owner of Good Fellas Taverns spoke to the Council about the restaurant. Councilperson Solano is super excited to see such a nice place in Central Falls on Dexter Street. Councilperson Figueroa echoed the words of Councilperson Solano and congratulated Mr. Calderon. Councilperson congratulated Mr. Calderon. Mr. Calderon thanked the Council.
Motion to adjourn was made by Councilperson Figueroa, Councilperson Solano and Councilperson Colon. Meeting was adjourned at 6:32pm.
