I.        Roll Call

City Clerk, Jahaira Rodriguez, conducted the roll call. Present were Councilwoman Tatiana Baena, Councilwoman Glendaliz Colon, Councilman Hugo Figueroa, Councilman Franklin Solano, and President Jessica Vega. Councilperson Meaghan Levasseur entered the meeting at

6:03pm and Councilperson Adamaris Villar entered the meeting at

6:02pm.  There was quorum.

II.       Pledge of Allegiance

Council President Vega asked Councilperson Figueroa to lead the Council in reciting the pledge of allegiance.

III.     Public Comment

No one signed up for Public Comment.

IV.     Approval of Records-Meeting minutes of June 1, 2021

Motion to approve the meeting minutes of June 1, 2021, was made by Councilperson Figueroa, seconded by Councilperson Colon. Motion carried 6, 0. Councilperson Villar did not vote as she was absent from the meeting on June 1, 2021.

VI.     Executive Communication

a. Executive Order 2021-0014 appointing Mary Signer as acting Director of Finance.

Council President congratulated Mary for her job while she has

been with the city. Councilperson Solano welcomed Mary to the City.

b. Mayoral Proclamation declaring the month of June 2021 as Pride

Month in the city of Central Falls.

VII.   Advertise Public Hearing regarding Central Falls proposed budget

a)  FY 2022 Annual Operating Budget Ordinance-General Fund (Vega, by request)

b) Ordinance Pertaining to the Salaries of Department Heads and Others in Unclassified Service (Vega, by request)

c) Ordinance Amending the Wage Schedule Generally (Vega, by request)

d)  Annual Capital Program and Capital Budget Ordinance (Vega, by request) Council President opened for public hearing on the Ordinances. There was no one signed up for public comment during the public hearing.

Acting Director Mary Signer answered questions of the Council members.
