Meeting Minutes

 

City Council President Maria Rivera called the meeting to order at 5:00pm

 

I.       Roll Call

Sonia Grace, City Clerk, conducted the roll call. Present were Council President Maria Rivera, Councilman Jonathon Acosta, Councilman Robert Ferri, Councilman Hugo Figueroa, Councilman Franklin Solano, and Councilwoman Jessica Vega. Councilman Gus Silva was absent. Quorum was present.

 

II.     Pledge of Allegiance

Councilwoman Rivera led the reciting of the pledge of allegiance

 

III.    Discussion with department directors regarding FY21 Proposed Budget

The City Council heard presentations and engaged in discussion with department directors regarding the proposed FY 21 budget.

Present and speaking on behalf of their departments were Barbara Addison, Director of Finance, Colonel Daniel Barzykowski, Chief of Police, Kathleen Taraian, Director of Human Resources, Dr. Michael Fine, Chief Health Strategist and Joshua Giraldo, Chief of Staff.

 

Barbara Addison, Joshua Giraldo and Johs Simmons, consultant, also provided an overview of the FY21 budget and answered questions about the revenue and expense forecasts.

 

IV.    Adjournment

Motion to adjourn was made by Councilwoman Vega and Councilman Ferri, seconded by Councilman Figueroa. Meeting adjourned at 9:11pm.
