City Council President Maria Rivera called the meeting to order at 7:04pm

 

I.       Roll Call

Sonia Grace, City Clerk, conducted the roll call. Present were Council President Maria Rivera, Councilman Jonathon Acosta, Councilman Robert Ferri, Councilman Hugo Figueroa, Councilman Franklin Solano, and Councilwoman Jessica Vega. Councilman Gus Silva was absent. Quorum was present.

 

II.     Pledge of Allegiance

Councilwoman Rivera led the reciting of the pledge of allegiance

 

III.    Executive Communication

A.   Executive Order 2020-0001: Covid-19 Preparation and Prevention Measures

B.   Executive Order 2020-0003: Supplemental Emergency Declaration, Governmental Health and Safety Measures and Further COVID-19 Preparation and Prevention Measures

C.   Executive Order 2020-0004: Supplemental Emergency Declaration, Minimum and Flexible Staffing Schedule, and Further COVID-19 Preparation and Prevention Measures

Councilman Silva joined the meeting at 7:15pm

 

IV.    Schedule of Bills- Hearing and/or consideration

A.   Resolution consenting to the Renewal of the Local Disaster Emergency Declaration (Rivera)

Motion to approve the resolution was made by Councilwoman Vega and Councilman Solano, seconded by Councilman Ferri.

Matthew Jerzyk, City Solicitor, provided an overview of the resolution,  related executive orders and answered questions from the Council

Roll call vote: Councilman Acosta: yes; Councilman Ferri: yes; Councilman Figueroa; yes; Councilman Silva: yes; Councilman Solano: yes; Councilwoman Vega: yes; Council President Rivera: yes. Motion carried unanimously.

 

V.      Adjournment

Motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Solano, seconded by Councilman Ferri. Meeting adjourned at 7:32pm.
