I.       Roll Call

Alberto de Burgo, Assistant City Clerk, conducted the roll call. Present were Council President Maria Rivera, Councilman Jonathon Acosta, Councilman Robert Ferri, Councilman Hugo Figueroa, Councilman Franklin Solano, and Councilwoman Jessica Vega. Absent was Councilman Gus Silva. Quorum was present.

Councilwoman Rivera lead the reciting of the pledge of allegiance

III.    Schedule of Bills- Advertised Public Hearing and/or consideration

A.   Ordinance amending FY20 Annual Operating Budget Ordinance-General Fund – First Reading (Rivera)

Motion to substitute Ordinance amending FY 20 annual operating budget with a SUB-A was made by Councilman Solano, seconded by Councilwoman Vega and Councilman Figueroa. Under discussion Chief of Staff Joshua Giraldo and Assistant City Solicitor Bobby Webber answered questions from the Council.

Motion to amend Sub-A to include “with council approval or notification” was made by Councilman Solano and seconded by Councilwoman Vega.

Roll call vote: Councilman Acosta: yes; Councilman Ferri: yes; Councilman Figueroa: yes; Councilman Solano: yes; Councilwoman Vega: yes; Council President Rivera: yes.  Motion Carried 6-0.

A motion to approve Sub-A as amended was made by Councilman Acosta, seconded by Councilwoman Vega.

Roll call vote: Councilman Acosta: yes; Councilman Ferri: yes; Councilman Figueroa: yes; Councilman Solano: yes; Councilwoman Vega: yes; Council President Rivera: yes.  Motion Carried 6-0.
