1.    Roll Call

Sonia Grace, City Clerk, conducted the roll call. Present were Councilman Bob Ferri, Councilman Jonathon Acosta, Councilwoman Carlene Fonseca, Councilman Thomas Lazieh, Councilwoman Maria Rivera, and Councilman Franklin Solano. Councilman Hugo Figueroa was absent. Quorum was present.

2.   Pledge of Allegiance

Councilman Ferri led the reciting of the pledge of allegiance.

3.   Discussion with department directors regarding FY19 Proposed Budget

Joshua Giraldo, Chief of Staff, spoke gave an overview of the presentations and the order of the two budget workshops. Along with Mr. Len Morganis, Acting Finance Director, he reviewed the documents provided to the Council.

Councilman Lazieh requested that the records note that he did not receive the FY19 booklet.

Councilman Hugo Figueroa entered at 6:19pm

The following department directors were present and provided an overview of their department’s activities as they relate to the FY19 budget.

Robert Sayre-McCord, Parks, Recreation & Community Service

Dr. Michael Fine, Chief Health Strategist, Office on Health.

Ms. Jackie Parra, Human Resources

Elaine Partridge, Code Enforcement and Public Works

Matthew Jerzyk, Law Department

Len Morganis, Finance Department

4.   Adjournment

Motion to adjourn was made by Councilwoman Fonseca, seconded by Councilman Acosta. Meeting adjourned at 9:17pm.
