Council President Bob Ferri called the meeting to order at 5:02pm in the Central Falls City Council Chambers.
City Clerk, Sonia Grace, conducted the roll call. Present were Councilman Ferri, Councilwoman Fonseca, Councilwoman Gonzalez, Councilwoman Racquier and Councilman Vaudreuil. Councilman Figueroa and Councilwoman Ristaino-Siegel were absent. Quorum was present.
A moment of silent was held in observance of the passing of Councilman Hugo Figueroa’s grandmother.

Ms. Lorraine Sena, a representative from Blackstone Valley Health Care was present to describe the event and answer questions from the Council.
Motion to approve the license application was made by Councilwoman Gonzalez, seconded by Councilwoman Fonseca. Motion carried 5-0.
Mr. Joshua Giraldo, Chief of Staff was present to describe the projects supported by the capital improvement funds in the ordinance. The projects include an evidence storage facility for the Police Department, exterior painting and repairs of City Hall, lighting upgrades of all municipal buildings to more energy efficient systems and the purchase and upgrade of the city’s street lights.
Colonel James Mendonca, Chief of Police, Mr. Peter Friedrichs, Director of the Department of Planning and Economic Development and Ms. Sonia Grace, City Clerk, also spoke about the projects and provided details requested by Councilors.
Mr. Giraldo clarified that the amount listed in the ordinance as total amount requested was incorrect and should be listed as $2,299,275.00.
Motion to approve the ordinance with the amended total was made by Councilwoman Fonseca, seconded by Councilwoman Racquier. Motion carried 5-0.
Motion to adjourn was made by Councilwoman Gonzalez, seconded by Councilman Vaudreuil. Meeting adjourned at 5:21pm.
