A meeting of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date, in the above location at 6:05 pm Council President William Benson Presided.

Edna Poulin of Notre Dame St. commented on the construction going on at Dexter Credit Union. She questioned the pedestrian traffic.
Thomas Lazieh of 1072 Lonsdale Ave. questioned the construction at Quinns square. He also questioned the Resolution on the agenda for adopting Charter Revisions.

a). Arthur Messier of 16-18 Sylvian St. for alleged expense due to an investigation.
b). Margarita Velez of 108 Bagley St. for alleged damages as a result of a subrogation due to a city trash truck that struck cable lines which were attached to 108 Bagley St.
Councilor Robert Ferri made a motion to refer these to the Claims Committee, seconded by Councilor Corrales all agreed so moved. 4yes 1 absent.

Mr. Derick Ross was not present. Discussion took place between City Council members and City Solicitor on options. It was determined that the case should be filed in District court.

Mr. Dempsey was present with someone from Olympian properties.
Mr. Kirby had him take an oath an questioned him.
Elaine Partridge of Code Enforcement was present an presented pictures of the evidence, along with Fire department and Police Department members.
After all evidence that was presented and discussion that took place.
Councilor Ferri made a motion for a revoke the license due to the evidence of drug paraphernalia being present, operating outside the hours permitted by the license, beds an sleeping arrangements, no evidence of a license massage therapist posted as required by the State Health Department, seconded by Councilor Szlastha. All agreed. 4 yes 1 absent.
Charter amendments as approved at the November, 2012 Election.
Discussion ensued.

Elaine Partridge of Code Enforcement explained why the amendment was necessary.
Councilor Ferri made a motion to amend the ordinance, seconded by Councilor Corrales. All agreed. 4 yes 1 absent.
a). Amending the Special Flood Hazard Areas and Flood fringe Lands Ordinance of 2009.
Councilor Ferri made the motion to approve the ordinance as amended, seconded by Councilor Szlastha. All agreed. 4 yes 1 absent.
Councilor Ferri made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Councilor Szlastha. Time: 8:25pm
