Special City Council Meeting

A Special meeting of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date, in the above location at 1:10pm Council President William Benson Presided.

Richard Kirby, Esq. was not present.

Lawrence Goldberg Esq. was not present

1. Roll call

Eunice Delahoz- Absent

Patrick Szlastha- Present

William Benson- Present

Robert Ferri- Present

Steven Corrales-Absent- Quorum present..

2. Pledge of Allegiance- Council President Benson, Jr. led the assembly.

3. License/Bingo—Oct. 18, 2013 5-11pm

Casey Club

d/b/a Knights of Columbus

20 Claremont St.

Councilor Ferri made a motion to approve, seconded by Councilor Szlastha. All Agreed. 3 yes 2 absent.

4. Authorization to purchase Forensic Breath Analysis in the amount of $8,000.00 (paid for in 2013-2014 Highway NHTSA SAFETY GRANT)

Colonel Mendonca was present and spoke about the grant.

The City Council members questioned the Colonel. He stated

Councilor Ferri made a motion to approve, seconded by Councilor Szlastha. All Agreed. 3 yes 2 absent.

5. Adjourn- Councilor Ferri made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Councilor Corrales. Time: 1:20pm.
