A Special meeting of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date, in the above location at 6:10pm Council President William Benson Presided.

Councilor Delahoz made a motion to accept and place on file collectively, seconded by Councilor Patrick Szlastha, all agreed so moved.
a. Goldberg Law Offices-Thomas D. Goldberg, Esq. for his client Kyra J. Harris an Melisa Harris for alleged injuries that occurred on 6/24/2013 while Melisa Harris was driving her car an struck a hole and protruding sewer cap resulting in personal injury an property damages.
b. Moretti, Perlow & Ronin Esq. for their Client John Rushiow for alleged injuries sustained on July 1, 2013 as a result of an injury sustained as an alleged result of the party name riding a bicycle on 20 Pacific St. striking a pothole.
Councilor Delahoz made a motion to accept items A an B and refer to the Trust, seconded by Patrick Szlastha, all agreed so moved. 4-0
c. Claims to be forwarded to Claims Committee
Lisa Fuoco as a Subrogation Recovery Services LLC for Margarita Velez of 108 Bagley St. for alleged damages by a trash truck on 6/27/2012 that struck cable lines pulling them off the home.
Councilor Delahoz made a motion to refer this claim to the Claims Committee, seconded by Councilor Szlastha. All Agreed. 4-0
Condolences to the family of Rita T. Manley at the request of Council President Benson, Jr.

AF0 Len Morganis submitted a letter stating this was provided for in the budget. (see attached)
Elaine Partridge, Director of Code Enforcement/Public Works was present and explained the different parts of the bid and the cost associated with it all.
Councilor Szlastha made a motion to approve , seconded by Councilor Delahoz. All agreed. 4-0

Colonel Mendonca was present and answered questions.

Jevon Chan Partner of the Tai O Group was present to request some sort of Economic Plan structure to allow businesses to develop property but to provide for amnesty until property is developed. More discussion took place. It was recommended that they develop some sort of program an present it to them. Also, City Council president warned that they are held under certain provisions of the Bankruptcy Court which will have to be researched on what the City Council can an cannot allow.
