State Receiver’s Meeting
A meeting of the State Receiver’s Council Hearing Officer was held on the above date; in the Council Chambers at 6:00pm John F. McJennett III the Receiver was present.
Richard Kirby, Esq. Solicitor for the City was also present along with Gayle Corrigan Chief of Staff.

The John F. McJennett III State appointed receiver made a motion accept all of items A and B and place them on file. So moved.
a. Pearl Watson for alleged injures due to a fall on High st. on 8/2/2012 involving a sewer vent, by her attorney Pannone Lopes Devereaux & West LLC.
b. Aaliyah Perez of Central Falls, RI for alleged injury at the Segue School due to an alleged malfunction of a bubbler.
Mr. McJennett III, State appointed receiver referred these two items to the Trust.

Then he showed up so the receiver removed it from the Table, and it was heard. Mr. McJennett III, State appointed receiver approved this application. |

7. Ordinances Public Hearing/Final Passage
a). Prohibiting smoking with proximity to public facilities and the delivery of tobacco products to minors in accordance with R.I. General Laws 23-20.9-1.ll
Public hearing opened.
Many people testified in favor of the ordinance.
Mr. McJennett III, State appointed receiver approved this Ordinance.
8.Hearing for Review of Status of Temporary License
7-Eleven Inc (detail had been advised)
d/b/a 7-Eleven
603 Hunt St.
Frank Milos, Esq. was present to represent 7-Eleven Inc.
Capt. Barzakowski of the Police Department was present and stated they had no problems.
Receiver granted the status of a regular license with the 24 hour service and the removal of the week end detail.
9. Resolutions
a. Approving the donation of City Owned land located at 10-12 Beacon St.
b. Approving the donation of City Owned land located at 14 Beacon St.
c. Approving the donation of City Owned land located at 131 Lincoln Ave.
Elaine Partridge, Director of Planning Dept. was present and explained the program.
Mr. McJennett III, State appointed receiver approved these Resoulutions.
10. Extending Congratulations to the Roundhouse Tavern
City Councilor Robert Ferri was present and spoke of past years of the Tavern.
Mr. McJennett III, State appointed receiver approved this Resolution.
11. Public input
Thomas Lazieh of 1072 Lonsdale Ave. had some questions of the Receiver.
12. Adjourn- The Receiver adjourned this meeting at 7:05pm.
