A meeting of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date, in the above location at 6:28 pm Council President William Benson Jr. Presided.
Atty. Lawrence Goldberg was present, Attorney for the City Council

Quorum present.
2. Public Input
Councilor Eunice Delahoz spoke against the continuation of the Receivership.
Representative James Mclaughlin was present and entered into discussion with the City Council on the challenges of the Receivership.
Helen Doucet of Shawmut Avenue spoke about the Receivership.
Mayor Thomas Lazieh of Lonsdale Avenue was present and spoke of the Receivership.
Pledge of Allegiance- Council President Benson, Jr. led the assembly.
3. Correspondence
a). Richard Kirby, Esq. re: Research requested re: City Charter and revised Ordinances.
Theodore Orsen Esq. Counsel to the Receiver sent Atty. Lawrence Goldberg correspondence that was forwarded to the clerk and is a part of this record in response to this item.
4. Minutes
a). April 9, 2012
b). April 20, 2012
Motion made by Councilor Eunice Delahoz to accept and place on file, seconded by Councilor Patrick Szlastha. All Agreed. So voted.
5. Resolutions
a). Extending Condolences to the family of Rudolf A. Jaworski, MD
b). Extending Condolences to the family of Deborah McNeile.
Motion made by Councilor Delahoz, seconded by Councilor Szlastha, to approve.
All agreed. So voted.
6. Mayor’s Comments- Mayor Moreau was not present.
7. Receiver’s Comments- Judge Robert G. Flanders, was not present.
8. Discussion of the Resignation of Councilor Richard Aubin
Motion to accept and place on file made by Councilor Patrick Szlastha, seconded by Councilor Eunice Delahoz all agreed. So voted.
Atty. Lawrence L. Goldberg was present and spoke of the Receivership to the City Council and updated them.
Adjourn- Motion to adjourn made by Councilor Szlastha, seconded by Councilor Aubin. All agreed. Time 7:26 pm
