Discussion and Advice to the Receiver:
A meeting of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date, in the above location at 7:04 pm Council President William Benson Jr. Presided.
Atty. Lawrence Goldberg was present, Attorney for the City Council

1. Roll Call

Quorum present.
2. Pledge of Allegiance
Council President Benson, Jr. led the assembly.
3. Public Input
Joseph Moran of Shawmut Ave. spoke of items pertaining to the bankruptcy. He also congratulated Viola Davis on her nomination for academy award.
Franklin Solano of Hunt St. Discussed the cost of the bankruptcy. Senator Elizabeth Crowley questioned the bidding process used by the state to attain the Chief of Staff.
Todd Desaurias of 176 Washington St. had questions pertaining to the receivership.
Bruce Corrigan of 36 Temple Place gave a timeline on bankruptcy proceedings.
Julio Castillo of 62 Pacific St. Questioned accountability and the rat situation.
Representative James McLaughlin was present and spoke of his meeting with the governor.
Raymond Delisio of Quality Auto a business establishment on Broad St. was present and spoke of the bankruptcy.
Representative Augusto Silva was present and spoke of the Powers of the Receiver.
Michael Brule of Washington St. was present and asked questions pertaining to the schools.
Albert Cardona who has a law firm here questioned the timeline of the Receivership.
Ted Driesberg of Hawley St. questioned the procedure followed to hire the staff for the Receiver.
Dr. Antonio Brajas live on Broad St. asked for a time line to be drafted for the exit of the Reciever.
4. Receiver’s Input –Richard Kirby, Esq. Was present for any questions.
5. Mayor’s Input –Mayor Charles Moreau Was present and talked of the frustrations of the bankruptcy.
6. Executive Session – Pursuant to RIGL 45-46-5 (a) 2- Litigation pertaining to Receivership
Motion by Coucilor Szlastha to go into executive session,
Seconded by Councilor Aubin. All agreed.
Time:8:25 pm
8:53pm Councilor meeting resumed.
Councilor Aubin made a motion to seal the minutes of exectutive session, seconded by Councilor Szlastha. All agreed. So voted.
7. Discussion on status of Receivership/Bankruptcy
This Discussion had already taken place above.
8. Adjourn – Motion to adjourn made by Councilor Szlastha, seconded by Councilor Aubin. All agreed. Time 8:55 pm
