Special State Receiver’s Meeting
Joint Session with the City Council
A meeting of the State Receiver’s Council Hearing Officer was held on the above date; in the Council Chambers at 6:12pm John F. McJennett III the Receiver was present.
Mr. Orsen,Esq. was present.
2. Pledge of Allegiance by Mr. John McJennett III.
3. Reports from Various Departments on the Five Year Financial Projections
a. Overview and review of personnel ordinance
Gayle Corrigan-Chief of Staff was present and gave a presentation.
b. Quarterly Finance Report
Linda Dykeman was present an gave an over view of the Budget.
Representative McLaughlin spoke on pension plan questions an arc.
Thomas Lazieh spoke on the 2012 audit report and the progress on it.
Mr. Lazieh also questioned on minimum manning’s for the Fire Dept..
He also had questions on the boards that were now vacant.
Councilor Ferri questioned Ms. Dykeman on the projection.
c. City Executive and Council Expenses
Gayle Corrigan explained the expenses.
d. Clerk and Board of Canvassers
e. Human Resources and Legal- Gayle Corrigan spoke on this department and the
expenses.
f. Tax Assessment—John Hocking the new Assessor was present and gave out break downs on the tax bills.
Questions were asked of him. Discussion ensued.
g. Recreation—Tony Tager- Director of Recreation was present and explained the expenses of recreation. Discussion ensued.
h. Planning and Economic Development
Elaine Partridge –Director of Code Enforcement and Planning had to leave the meeting due to an emergency in the City. Steve Larrick explained the budgets and gave an overall update on each department.
Questions were asked by the audience of him. Discussion ensued.
4. Adjourn- Mr. John McJennett III adjourned the meeting at 8:50pm
