A meeting of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date, in the above location at 6: pm Council President William Benson Jr. Presided.

Atty. Lawrence Goldberg was present, Attorney for the City Council.

Patrick Szlastha- Present

William Benson- Present

James Diossa- Present

Robert Ferri-Present

Quorum present.

 

2. Pledge of Allegiance- Council President Benson, Jr. led the assembly.

 

3. Public Input

Thomas Lazieh of 1071 Lonsdale Ave. voiced his frustration over the length of bankruptcy proceedings.  Discussion ensued.

 

4. Minutes

a).. July 9, 2012

Motion made by Councilor Councilor Ferri and asked to let the previous minutes to show that he an Councilor Diossa were not present at the Executive session on  July 9, 2012 and then he asked to accept and place on file, Eunice Delahoz seconded by.  All Agreed. So voted.

7. Special Counsel Report and discussion –Lawrence Goldberg, Esq.

Attorney Lawrence Goldberg was present an updated the Council and the public on the bankruptcy proceedings and answered any questions of the public.

 

8. Executive session--- Pursuant to RIGL 45-46-5 (a) 2- Potential Litigation-

No Executive session was held.

 

9. Adjourn- Motion to adjourn made by Councilor Szlastha, seconded by Councilor Ferri. All agreed. Time 7:31 pm
