A meeting of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date, in the Council Chambers at 6:12PM Council President William Benson. Presided.
Atty. Lawrence Goldberg was present for the City Council.
Atty. Richard Kirby was present.

Mayor Thomas Lazieh was present and questioned the continuance of the Receivership and other items.
Edna Poulin commented on not having audits, and Receiver’s budgets still don’t balance.
a). March 12, 2012
Councilor Aubin made a motion to accept and place on file, seconded by Councilor Szlastha, all agreed. So voted.
a). Cumberland School Committee re: Support of a June 1 Layoff
b). Lawrence Goldberg, Esq. at the request of the City Council re:
Protocols observed and mechanisms used by the receiver of hiring City personnel.
c). Smithfield Public Schools re: Layoff notification
d). Senator Bethany L. Moura Senator District 19 re: RIGL 34-27-6 re: foreclosing properties and recording fees.
e).Honorable Mayor Donald R. Grebien re: Shared Services
Councilor Aubin made a motion to accept and place on file, seconded by Councilor Szlastha, all agreed. So voted.
Mr. DeAndrade was present and made a presentation to the City Council. Council members questioned him.
Discussion took place that he should contact Planning for advice.
Councilor Aubin made a motion to advise the Receiver that they are in favor of this request subject to the approval of the Receiver, this motion was seconded by Councilor Szlastha, all agreed so voted.
Mayor Charles Moreau was present and spoke of the Receivership.
He also spoke of the non payments of the Detention Facility.
Councilor Delahoz commented on the Receivership.
Councilor Szlastha commented on the Receivership.
a). Extending Condolences to the family of Gertrude Dumont at the request of Councilor William Benson.
b). Extending Condolences to the family of Robert England at the request of Councilor William Benson.
c). Extending Condolences to the family of James Cunningham Jr. at the request of Councilor William Benson.
Councilor Aubin made a motion to accept and place on file, seconded by Councilor Szlastha, all agreed. So voted.
