State Receiver’s Hearing Officer’s Meeting

 

 

A meeting of the State Receiver’s Hearing Officer was held on the above date, in the Council Chambers at 6:00pm.

Mathew Oliverio, Esq. was present.

1.   Extending the Condolences of the Central Falls Receiver’s Council to the family of William C. Laramee Sr.

Gayle Corrigan approved items A through D to be accepted and placed on file, subject to the authorization of the Receiver.

 

5.   Claim to be referred to the Trust/ Claims

a).  Kevin Guindon and Fraternal Order of Police for alleged fracture of the contract.

b).  Annemarie Dumont for alleged damages as a result of her hitting a pothole on Sylvian St.

Gayle Corrigan referred these two items collectively to the Claims Committee.  Mathew Oliverio, Esq. was present representing the City and asked for a Claims Committee meeting for August with an executive session to be listed.

 

6.   Discussion and possible vote on the Licensing procedures to appear twice.

Gayle Corrigan decided that there would be no need to have two meetings for the each new business, she stated we were trying to business friendly.  So from now forward we would have only one meeting and the City Clerk would be responsible to get the documents.
