A meeting of the Central Falls City Council was held on the above date, in the Council Chambers at 6:04 pm. Council President William Benson Jr. Presided.

5.         Ordinances/ Public Hearing/Final Passage

 

a).        Adopting the 2010 Rhode Island Property Maintenance Code

Public hearing held- no one spoke.

Todd Oldbrych the building official was present and spoke on this Ordinance.

Motion to approve was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilors Delahoz . All agreed. So voted. 4-0

 

b).        Article II. Excavations (as amended)

Motion to approve was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilors Delahoz .

Under discussion. Councilor Benson discussed that the only people this would affect would be the residents of the City.  He did not feel it was just.

Councilor Aubin and Delahoz withdrew their motion.

 

Motion to deny was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilor Delahoz. All agreed. So voted. 4-0

 

6.         Kidz Jungle Cuts- 1101 Lonsdale Ave. Hearing

Motion to table was made by Councilor Delahoz, seconded by Councilor Diossa. All agreed. So voted. 4-0

 

7.         Solicitor’s abatement – 60 Lincoln Ave.

Motion to approve was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilor Delahoz. All agreed. So voted. 5-0

 

8.         Adjourn

Motion to adjourn was made by all. All agreed. So voted. Time: 6:35pm.
