Council President Benson presided and led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance.
A) Minutes
1. June 3, 2010
Motion to accept and place on fine was made by Councilor Diossa, seconded by Councilor Aubin. All agreed. So voted. 5-0 (one correction made Councilor Delahoz was listed as present when she was absent)
a). Resolution In Concurrence with the Mailing of Property Tax Bills With No Increase Over Fiscal Year 2009-2010 as Proposed by the Temporary Receiver for Fiscal Year 2010-2011.
Motion to approve was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilor Szlastha.

b). Resolution in Support of Legislation Amending RIGL Title 45 Chapter 54 Section 5 Entitled “Board of Directors – Tenure-Quorums” for the Municipal Detention Facility.
Motion to table until minor changes are made was made by Councilor Szlastha, seconded by Councilor Aubin. All agreed. 5-0
c). Resolution in Support of Legislation Amending Title 45 – Chapter 54 Section 7 Entitled “Municipal Detention Facility Corporations that are Exempt from Taxation.
Motion to approve was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilors Delahoz and Councilor Szlastha.
