1. Town of Portsmouth, RI re: Opposition to house Bill 5931 and Senate Bill 606 re: Requiring local Tax Collector’s to notify Rhode Island Housing & Mortgage Finance Corp of pending Tax Sales.

Motion to accept and place on file collectively items A and B made by Councilor Aubin and seconded by Councilor Delahoz. All Agreed. So voted. 5-0
D) Claims—to be referred Claims committee
1. Claudia Guarin—of 120 Butler Ave. for alleged damages to her vehicle as a result of a collision with a police vehicle on 12/10/2009.
2. Simple Pleasures Spa -753 Broad St. re: Failure to vote upon the license application filed by Plaintiff.
Jack Gannon, Esq. was present and asked to explain. He stated that this item was filed before the Council rendered a decision on the matter.
Motion to refer these two items to the Claims Committee was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilor Szlastha. All agreed. So voted. 5-0
