Motion to accept and place on file collectively items A through D made by Councilor Aubin and seconded by Councilor Delahoz.  All Agreed.  So voted. 4-0

E)     Claims/(to be referred to the Trust)

1.      Hipolito Fontes v. City of Central Falls

2.      Marie LaBoissonniere vs. Central Falls School Dept.

Motion to refer this item to the Trust was made by Councilor Aubin, seconded by Councilor Delahoz. All agreed. So voted. 4-0

5.      Abatement and Additions List

Matthew Helford –Tax Assessor was present.

Motion to approve was made by Councilor Delahoz, seconded byAubin. All agreed. So voted. 4-0

6.      Report on Juvenile Curfew (as requested by Colonel Moran)

Colonel Moran was present and gave a report to the Council.

7.      License

Councilor Aubin recrused himself for item a.

8.      Discussion/Action of H & R Block operating under an alleged previous owner’s License.

Discussion took place.  Mr. Pacheco the previous owner of World Travel was present and stated he did not sign last year’s license application.  Mr. Sanchez was present and stated they had an agreement that he could sign it.  The clerk brought up the dilemma that all license holders had to renew in November, and the license would be running out.  Also, Matt, the assessor was present and gave testimony that the previous taxes was abated to the old owner and assessed to the new owner!  The owner of H & R Block was present and wanted to remain open until this could get settled.  Council President Benson stated he would have to speak to the Law Department, because there was no representation there at this time.

- Councilor Aubin congratulated the police department on the Toys for Tots run.

- Councilor 0’Connor questioned the Council on water pressure issues.
